How long does Seresto® for cats take to work?
Seresto® kills existing fleas on cats within 24 hours after application. Once Seresto® has been on your cat for 24 hours, re-infesting fleas are killed within two hours. Seresto® starts killing ticks within 48 hours after Seresto® collar application. Re-infesting ticks are repelled and/or killed in as quickly as 6 hours.
How do I apply the Seresto® collar and take it off my cat?
How to apply the Seresto® collar on your cat:
- Remove the collar from its packaging.
- Unroll the collar and remove the small plastic connectors from inside the collar, ensuring that no remnants remain.
- Insert the end of the collar through the buckle and loops.
- Adjust the collar around your cat's neck until it fits comfortably on them.
- Two fingers should fit beneath the collar and neck to ensure it is not too tight. Any excess length of the collar beyond an inch past the loops should be cut off unless it is on a growing kitten, where some additional length may be needed for adjustment as the kitten grows. Also, make sure the collar cannot be pulled over the head.
- Check periodically and adjust fit if necessary, especially if you have a kitten that is rapidly growing.
- Seresto® comes with three optional reflector clips that can be attached to the collar to help keep your cat visible at night. The reflector clips should be evenly distributed on the non-overlapping part of the collar.

What are the design features of the Seresto® collar for cats?
Seresto® cat collars are designed with a ratchet release and pre-determined breaking point. The pre-determined breaking point is the zig zag area of the collar.
If your cat is not used to collars:
You might notice your cat scratching at the Seresto® collar in the first few days after fitting. Make sure the collar is not too tight to help ensure your pet's comfort. Rarely, mild application site reactions may occur such as scratching, redness and hair loss. These usually resolve themselves within 1-2 weeks without needing to remove the collar. Continue to praise your cat while they adjust to wearing a collar.

How do I apply K9 Advantix® II?
Use only on dogs. DO NOT USE ON CATS or other animals. Do not apply to dogs weighing less than 4 lbs.
Remove applicator tube from the package. Use scissors and peel down foil.
Hold applicator tube in an upright position. Pull cap off tube.
Turn the cap around and place other end of cap back on tube.
Twist cap to break seal, then remove cap from tube.
The dog should be standing for easy application. Evenly apply the entire contents of the tube along the top of the dog's back, from the shoulder down to the base of the tail. The number of spots depends on the size and weight of your dog (please refer to the product label). At each spot, part the hair until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and gently squeeze to expel a portion of the solution on the skin. Do not apply an excessive amount of solution at any one spot that could cause some of the solution to run off the side of the dog. Do not get this product in your dog's eyes, or allow your dog to ingest this product.
How does K9 Advantix® II work?
Not all products work the same way: K9 Advantix® II is applied to the pet's skin, spreading the active ingredients over your dog's body to kill fleas, ticks and mosquitoes through contact. No biting required!
Can my dog go swimming after using K9 Advantix® II?
Yes! Your dog is free to take a dip after K9 Advantix® II has been on for 24 hours. More frequent swimming may keep the product from working for the full 30 days.
How long does it take for K9 Advantix® II to work on fleas?
K9 Advantix® II kills fleas within 12 hours. New fleas that jump on the dog from the surroundings, such as grass, carpet and pet bedding, are killed within 2 hours with protection against further infestation for at least 4 weeks.
Why do I still see fleas after using K9 Advantix® II?
Although K9 Advantix® II kills fleas on your dog, there may still be fleas in your dog's environment that have since jumped on after treatment. Luckily, with K9 Advantix® II, new fleas are killed within 2 hours with protection against further infestation for at least 4 weeks. As fleas die they are no longer able to stay hidden against your dog's skin, and therefore you may also be seeing dying fleas coming to the surface of your dog's fur coat.
Can I apply K9 Advantix® II more than once a month?
A single application of K9 Advantix® II remains effective for four weeks. However, if the dog has a severe infestation, retreatment within a month may be necessary. Do not retreat more than once every seven days. After flea control is attained, return to a monthly treatment schedule.
Can I bathe my dog after applying K9 Advantix® II?
Yes! However, we suggest bathing your dog before applying K9 Advantix® II. Your dog needs to be dry at the time of application.
If you choose to bathe your dog in between treatments, we recommend use of a general grooming shampoo for pets.
How long does K9 Advantix® II last?
A single application of K9 Advantix® II keeps working for a month.
How long after using another topical product do I need to wait before applying K9 Advantix® II?

How do I use the Advantage® Household Fogger for fleas in my home?
One canister of fogger will treat a room up to 16 ft x 16 ft with an 8 ft ceiling or 2,000 cubic ft of unobstructed space. However, do not use more than one fogger per room and do not use in small, enclosed spaces such as closets, cabinets, or under counters or tables. Avoid using Advantage® Household Fogger in a room 5 x 5 ft or smaller; instead, allow fog to enter from other rooms. See below for flea fogger directions.
Before You Fog:
- Remove or cover exposed food and drinking water before any application.
- Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food processing equipment and food preparation surfaces, or wash them before use.
- Be sure to remove pets and birds, as well as cover and turn off fish aquariums before activating canister.
- Shut off all exhaust fans and close all windows, doors and ventilators.
- Turn off ALL ignition sources such as pilot lights (shut off gas valves), other open flames or running electrical appliances that cycle off and on (i.e., refrigerators, thermostats, etc.)
- Cover wood floors and wood furniture in the immediate area around fogger with newspapers or a dropcloth.
- Open cabinets, cupboards, drawers, closets and doors in areas to be treated.
- Place a chair, small table or stand in the center of the room to be treated, and then cover with newspaper.
- Fill out and place a hang-tag on the door to the treated area to alert anyone with access to the treated area not to enter for two (2) hours.
To Start Fogging:
- Shake well before use and keep container upright.
- The canister sprays straight up, so it's important to point the canister away from your face and eyes when releasing.
- To lock valve in position for automatic discharge, press the valve button down firmly until it snaps into place.
- Once the canister has been activated, place the canister on the chair, small table or stand (that is covered by newspaper) in the center of the room to be treated.
- For best results, treat all areas infested with fleas or other pests.
- Do not remain in the treated area. Vacate the treated house, individual apartment unit or other structure immediately.
- Do not re-enter for two (2) hours.
After Fogging:
- Wait two (2) hours after application, and then open windows, vents and doors for two (2) hours. If an odor is still detectable, additional ventilation is required.
- For more effective control of storage pests and cockroaches, open all cupboard doors and drawers for better penetration of fog.
- Remove all infested foodstuffs and dispose of it in outdoor trash.
- For flea and tick control, thoroughly vacuum all carpeting, upholstered furniture, along baseboards, under furniture and in closets. Put vacuum bag into a sack and dispose of it in outdoor trash.

This flea spray can be used on many areas in your home, including cracks, crevices, walls, baseboards, floors, floorboards, carpets, rugs, closets, mattresses, box springs, headboards, under refrigerators, cabinets, sinks and stoves. It can also treat interior entry points such as doors, and around windows and water pipes.
However, do not apply this indoor flea spray to surfaces where prolonged human contact will occur — such as bed linens — as it may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. And be sure to remove pets and birds, and cover fish aquariums before spraying. Additionally, when using this flea spray for home, all food preparation and eating surfaces as well as utensils should be covered during treatment, or thoroughly washed before use.

The ingredients in Advantage® Carpet & Upholstery Spot Spray are specially formulated to kill household pests – fleas, ticks, bed bugs and dust mites.
To Kill Brown Dog Ticks and Fleas: Spray Advantage® flea spray around beds, furniture and pet's habitat. Also spray pet sleeping quarters, bedding, carpeting, floor and floor covering where pets are kept. Use only a recommended pet spray on pets.
To Kill Bed Bugs and Bed Bug Eggs: Spray bugs directly when possible. Apply on and around bed frames, headboards, floors, carpeting, baseboards, furniture, moldings, ceilings and walls. Treat feeding or hiding areas such as baseboards, carpet, floor, rugs, under refrigerators, cabinets, sinks and stoves. To Kill Clothes Moths and Carpet Beetles: Apply as a spot treatment to cracks and crevices on and around baseboards, floorboards, furniture and around the edges of carpet. Apply as a spot spray to carpet, rugs, closets, baseboards, furniture, and on floor and floor coverings. When treating carpets or rugs, spray sufficient amount to get into the base where larval stages are feeding. Spray both top and bottom surface of rugs or floor coverings when possible.

When you're ready to use, follow the Advantage® Carpet & Upholstery Spray directions:
- Hold container upright with nozzle aimed away from you.
- Spray surfaces from a distance of 8 to 10 inches until slightly damp.
